The media keeps interrupting hardworking folks at their jobs
Friday, December 11th, 2009Down in my hood, on Broadway about 6 or 7 blocks from where I work, this insensitive media stooge gets schooled by a hardworking young lady just trying to do her job. In the middle of the day….

Man, I just love how the only times this town (or state, really) ever makes national news it’s for something that makes you want to just shake your head in disbelief and shame..
Actually isn’t that the little “strip mall” section of Broadway? I was wondering where all the, uh, professionals went when they got kicked off of 7th…

Hmmm, was she waiting for some of that stimulus money perhaps?
Ahhhh Rockford; my mom (now in her 80’s) grew up in Aurora, and even she remembers her friends dissing Rockford back in the 40’s when they when up there to play football or basketball.. What is sad, is this town does have a lot of potential, if only they wouldn’t keep shooting themselves in the foot. (Or letting the state pols, down in Springfield, bitch slap them around.)
Oh well, being in Byron, guess I don’t have all that much room to talk *grin*.
