I’m back
Monday, December 29th, 2003I apologize for pretty much letting the blog slip to the wayside for a few days, Christmas about kicked my ass this year. Didn’t plan on a hiatus but scrambling to get the kids from point A to B for family stuff pretty much every day since Christmas Eve, loading/unloading gifts, undoing the THRITY-SEVEN MILLION FREAKIN’ PLASTIC COATED TIE WIRES holding toys to cardboard (I swear putting these things on has to be about 5% of China’s GDP), and eating till I about explode daily (I start Atkins and an exercise regiment on the 5th, 40 lbs. of me will be gone by 5-29-04), did me in. Now I have to read through my 500+ (no exaggeration) spam messages that made it through my filter, and catch up on my alliance assignments.
I hope everyone out there had an excellent holiday. I had a blast with the kids, and got to finally meet my buddy Daniel’s fiance Roseanne (Rzan), scarfed some damn good chili, and went to go see Return of the King, and it was all good. I really hope I can make it to their wedding (assuming they find a place to get hitched!).
Now it’s time to go out and get jello shot fixin’s for new years, wheee…..

I think we finally have… I drug Daniel off to Anacortes for some couple time and lo and behold in the midst of a wretched icy rainstorm we happened upon the most enchanted little park.
It’s all cobbled stone walls twisting and turning and ambling about trees. It’s got this awesome huge mosaiced stone gazebo-literally perfect for a crazy dorky fantasy kinda wedding.
Just the sort of spot a fellow might wipe his hands on his kilt and raise a flagon to his new (in all but blood) sister.
The visit was awesome. It was so fun to meet you guys and get a little taste of what made Daniel so… Well… so Daniely. The movie rocked!
Hey if I make it out there for the wedding I have no problem wearing the full dress kilt. Glad you found a spot!
