Euphemisms

Every time I had to take a dump today (which thanks to the pizza and Sam Adams Octoberfest was quite a few times) the poxy fucking Green Bay Packers had more points than before I dropped trou.

Henceforth I shall refer to squeezing out a steaming turd as “Putting Aaron Rodgers on the board”.

Lousy cheesehead sumbitches grumblegrumblegrumble….

Fixing the habit: Day 64

  1. Well how about those Chiefs? 0-3 start to 3-3 with three straight wins. A win against the Bolts next week at Arrowhead would put KC in first place within the AFC West.

Yes, watching Aaron Rogers throw TD’s gets old and fast. That guy is incredible.

  2. Lets not hate on the Valiant Sons of Lambeau, you Flatlander.

  3. Like it or not (and I am not particularly happy about it), Green Bay does have a good team. And barring any major injuries, they seem to be the NFC North Divisional representative, come playoff time. And if “Da Bears” are not able to field a team which will end the season better than 9-7, I will swallow my pride and root for the Division leader to represent us fly over types come Super Bowl time.

Now if we DID have a team worth a s***, one which had strong coaching, at all levels. One which recognized both the strengths and weaknesses of said team, and developed its game plans around same, instead of having some sort of fantasy fetish about an offensive scheme, which in the case of the Bears offense, is truly offensive, than we might have a chance at something beyond the first of the year.

Lovey, Martz, and Angelo need to go … yesterday. As it stands right now, the next 3 years or so are going to see the Bears in a “rebuilding mode”, both defensively, and offensively. We shall see what happens.

  4. Lovey, Martz, Angelo, and the McCaskey’s need to sell the team to someone who won’t hire people like Lovie, Martz, and Angelo.

Green Bay has a very good team. Aaron Rodgers is a very good QB. Neither of these things gives me joy.

Yesterday was one of the two times a year I cheer for the Vi-Queens.

  5. I like Green Bay better without Favre. Farve should stick to doing TV commercials for grandma jeans. I do conceed that Green Bay has a pretty incredible team. I think the Chiefs have to play them later this season too, which might not go so well for the Mighty Red and Gold!

Maybe the Bears could try to pick up Marty Schottenheimer!?!

  6. Don’t worry, Grau, someday it’ll be 1985 again for the Bears.

Meanwhile, for the Packers, it looks like it’s 1962.

  7. That’s funny, I remember not too long ago you and I discussing how the only time Bear and Packer fans agree is when it’s to beat the Vikings. hehe.

  8. I should have added the caveat that doesn’t apply when the Packers are undefeated so far this season :)
