Hailey Bieber has paid tribute to Princess Diana, recreating some of her most iconic looks for a Vogue photo shoot.
The model shared some snaps from her Vogue Paris feature on Instagram, hailing Diana as a “style inspiration”.
It marks 22 years since the death of the princess when she was just 36, in a car crash in Paris on 31 August 1997.
Bieber, who would have been just nine months old at the time, can be seen wearing a sweatshirt and cycling shorts in one shot, recreating a similar snap of Diana in the 1990s.
In it she holds her car keys in her mouth as she looks for something in her handbag.
Diana would frequently cover up in oversized sweatshirts as she headed to the gym each day, unsuccessfully trying to avoid paparazzi attention.
Another photo shows Bieber in jeans and a cap, striding across a lawn – emulating Diana’s look from a polo match in Windsor in 1988.
In a caption next to one image, Bieber wrote: “All credit and inspo to the amazingly beautiful and iconically stylish Princess Diana who I’ve looked to for style inspiration for as long as I can remember.
“Thank you for leaving behind such an iconic fashion and style legacy.”
Model Bella Hadid commented on the images, writing: “can’t handle this. too. Good.”
Bella’s sister Gigi added: “I love this story so much!”
Meanwhile, Hailey, who married singer Justin Bieber in a low-key ceremony last year, recently praised her new spouse after he spoke out about going through difficult times.
He thanked her for being a “huge support” while he’s going through a “hard season”.
The 25-year-old-finished his message by saying the pain “won’t last”, to which his wife replied: “so proud of who you are.”
